Season of Writing Dangerously

Well, I succeeded in my goal. I wanted to expand my Helyanwe-verse - begin writing her full story. I got a Prologue and 11 chapters completed with a 12th chapter in progress, for a total of 33,854 words. I'm very happy and even though I have a long way to go with her story, and some storylines to whip into shape, I have hopes that her story will see the light eventually.

Hey, congrats 1L! That's a helluva lot of writing. In my case S of WD was an epic fail. *sniff*
Thanks, Elfscribe. I'm not at all ready to have it public yet though, it's too many words to just throw at anyone to look over, and I actually can do well at self-beta work when I am in the right mood. I want to get to a certain point and then I can start putting her out into the public eye.

As for've got your class going on. I think your SoWD just shifted dates for you and you're doing it now, in essence.

Thanks Ellynn. (Love the userpic cheerleader - LOL.) I hope to get her out into the public eye next year sometime.

Congratulations! (I failed completely to get anything done; this is why I don't normally dabble in fests...)
Thanks, Clodia. I think the only reason I got anything done was that it was something I wanted to do in the first place and was just the kick I needed to begin getting it written down from my head onto my computer.

Oh, mine is something I want to get done and one day I will. But I have so many of these things. Good work on getting yours written up!
Well done! I didn't sign up because the holidays and then orclings back to school were sure to make a dent on writing time. I hope you keep the momentum.
Well, I'll be writing. As for my muse and I are fighting about one aspect that she had me write in that I'm having serious reservations about. So, until that is resolved, I'm not writing more on this. I only want to edit four chapters, not more :-)

Well done! I look forward to reading it when it is ready to be seen in public.
Thanks, Curious. Although the first few chapters are pretty much ready, I want more than that in the bucket before I start.
