Progress and Play Time...

So, in spite of feeling lousy yesterday, I did two loads of laundry, dusted and cleaned, vaccuumed, made Sharon's bed, did a quick grocery shop and picked up a nice bouquet of flowers for her room, picked her up from the airport, and had a great dinner at Red Lobster to start our vacation out right. We'll leave for the Fairgrounds in about 45 minutes here and I'm looking forward to being there again. My throat is still giving me all sorts of problems and I'm still coughing badly, especially when I talk (not so good for catching up on a year's worth of gossip and news) so I'll take my cough drops along with me for sure and carry a drink as much as possible, that will also help. Now....what to eat?????? Happy me!

We didn't eat too much, but we walked, and walked, and walked. And had a wonderful time. Tomorrow, more of the same.

I coughed my way through the Fair, but I think that's the way it's going to be for a few more days *sigh*. At least I don't feel like death, the way I did on Wednesday, so things are looking up.

I had a wonderful day, had just enough to eat and one too many Guinness (well, that's a bit of an oxymoron since there is no such thing as too many Guinness), but we had a great time. Tomorrow is our big push day - we'll be out there from 7:30 am until after 10:30 pm, we won't leave until after the fireworks. DH will join us after he gets off work.

Thanks, oh Chaotic one of the blinding smile. We had a very nice day and are planning a repeat tomorrow.

Thanks Oshun. We had a wonderful time wandering all over the fairgrounds. We figure with enough walking we can go ahead and be a bit less wise about what we eat :-) Well, it sounded good.....
