I would go out on weekends, I wouldn't be chained to the computer. But over the past week I dove into the actual writing of my character Helyanwe's story, and it is obsessive. By the time I went to sleep on Sunday, I had already written 12,090 words in this opus, and I'm barely into Section 1. I am estimating, based on those numbers, that this opus will run at least 100,000 words. But that could be vastly underestimating my run. I have chapters in for crit right now, and eventually they will be posted in my usual places - my LJ page, as well as Silmarillion Writers Guild and Fairie.
