cheerfulToday is July 4th, Independence Day for the United States. The US has its problems, and can be overbearing and achingly self-confident, but I wouldn't choose any other place to live. It is a beautiful land, broad and varied, and the majority of the people are warm hearted and friendly. I feel extremely fortunate to live in the USA, and will be celebrating via looking at patio blocks (we need to upgrade) and a few drinks later today. In the meanwhile, here are some fireworks to celebrate a large birthday. Happy Birthday USA.
