Dentist - Ick!

OK, I was good and called my Dentist.  I have an appointment for 8am tomorrow morning.  I'm not really sure I'm up for this, but no choice...  Can I run away screaming now???

No! Screaming is fine, but no running. It'll only get worse if you wait.

Good luck tomorrow! :o)
Just think about how good it will feel to be out of pain again!

I hate the dentist, too... :(
*hugs* Don't run! It's for the best in the long run. I'm glad you're going to see someone about your tooth and hope the worst part of all of this is the worry beforehand.
Scream all you want, but no running. Running will only make it worse - but your dentist's likely used to hearing folks scream.

I know I am.
I can handle needles if I'm handling them, but I'm just horrid with novacaine shots. Without those, I probably wouldn't have any problem with dentistry. In fact, when I was young, I was so afraid of the shots that I did most of my procedures without any anesthetic at all. Not a happy thing, but better than getting the shots as far as I was concerned. Have I mentioned that I am a total needle-phobic?

I can easily cause pain to myself, but to turn that trust to another is extremely difficult for me.
I always think I cannot do it either, and am convinced that I just get into a state of frozen terror, but I bet it will be over faster than you think possible. I will be sending you lots of good thoughts at that time!
