Coldagnir Cartoon


So 
As Sian and I were trading volleys since she lent Coldagnir to me for the day to warm me up in my frigid Helcaraxe, I told her that we had built snow forts and had a snowball fight.  The problem with a snowball fight with a balrog is that the balrog - Coldagnir in this instance - has difficulty controlling his temperature to the point where most of the snowballs actually melt before being able to be thrown.  Therefore, I had the victory and Coldagnir looked a bit frustrated.  So here is my quick rendition of the battle from his point of view.

And I return Coldagnir to you today, a little wetter than he was before and having a much greater appreciation for fields of white snow and frozen water. It was fun having him perch in my home for a day and I promise I treated him well and we had fun.

    Ah...well, I need organization and intellectual topics today (as well as beautiful Elves), so I'll go with dark Erestor today. One of my long-time favorites. He can keep me on track for my errands, and hopefully will enjoy my sneaking a Solstice gift to an acquaintence of mine as I drop by her employment today. I DO love fun surprises. One of these days I'll ask for Feanor, but only when I can spend the day in creative pursuits at my kiln or my sketchbook.

    LOL. I am so delighted that my small cartoon could be an inspiration for your wonderful ongoing comic. I always enjoy Gothmog and his antics. And Spiced's Coldagnir - well, having him visit for the day was just what this cold girl needed :-) (Hand to heart followed by a short but sincere bow.)

    Aww, poor Coldagnir! But at least he won't feel cold in all that snow. *g*

    All too true, my dear Esteliel. He wasn't cold, but I certainly was. Our high that day was 6 above zero F.
