B2ME Bingo

I only contributed one bingo card, but it was fun.  Of course, I love all of the major (and other) Tolkien books, so I chose to do Five Books, Five Characters for my B2ME card.  I hope that it inspires some of you.

This year's B2ME will mark my one year anniversary for writing and posting publicly.  I send a huge SHOUT out to all of you who have helped me hone my writing skills over the past year.  It's been a learning experience and I've enjoyed most of it - LOL.  I encourage some of you who may not have been brave enough to want to swim in our pool yet to try B2ME.  You can find the Bingo cards listed here on Silmarillion Writers Guild.  You don't have to do something every day, but ideally you will write or draw or sculpt something for each day when you have a matching Bingo number.  That's the goal.  Read over the rules, and think about playing along.

You have all day today to load the fic, The deadline is Wednesday 8th, which in practical terms means it needs to be there when Red logs in on Thursday morning. (either that or ask for extra time as several of us have been forced to *g*) Either way, good luck :)

Oh, hate to say it, but I uploaded my SV fic more than two weeks ago.

I find swap fics take longer for me anyhow - they're a gift, so I always try and do that bit extra to try and get them right. It does seem though there's a lot of extensions this time round, it's quite strange. I guess it depends on how lucky you got with your assignment - and how quick your beta is (two people would have posted way earlier than they did if I'd not been fussing with RL stuff, lol)
I agree, this one just happened to work well for me, and I had other things I had to move on to. I hope you got everything done on time :-)

Oh I'm famous for crawling in under the wire, Kenaz and Red would be shocked if it happened any other way :D Also doubt Red has time to beta read till the weekend, so that works fine. Now if the laptop would just stop messing around....
I feel for you, but I passed mine in several weeks ago - had finished the story and didn't want to be in a time crunch (like everything else in my life - LOL). I hope you finish on time :-)

The time...I don't have it.

Sculpt something? Are people going to do that? O_O My Mum knows a sculptor, and his work takes ages.
Oh, I just put that in there because you (or whoever) can do really anything for the prompts. And clay sculpture can take as long as years and as little as an hour (just give a kid some clay and watch them go - LOL). I want people to think outside the box. You don't just have to write to fulfill the prompts for B2ME.

I understand about time.....
I was thinking of sculpting stone, lol. It seemed a tall order.

What about all the House of Finwë done in the style of The Charioteer?

I think one a day would be stretching it though!
I think that carving the head of a match should be required, don'cha know? But if that is not possible (and my eyes certainly wouldn't allow me to be successful with that goal) then maybe Popsicle sticks? Minas Tirith, however, is probably over the top - LOL. (What a magnificent job this guy did...Wow!)
